HMA Panel on the Future of Healthcare in Hawai‘i

  • Dr Donna Mayeda | Ke Ola Noa Direct Primary Care in Honolulu (map)

This session will focus on the current state of healthcare in Hawai‘i, including the financial pressures threatening system sustainability, the challenges facing physicians and hospitals, and what is required to ensure that healthcare in Hawai‘i can continue to exist in an equitable, accessible, and sustainable manner.

The panel will also address emerging developments — including the proposed Hawai‘i Pacific Health–HMSA merger — and offer insights into how these shifts may reshape care delivery across our islands.

We hope you can join us for this important and candid discussion. Your perspectives and engagement are essential as we collectively work to protect and strengthen Hawai‘i’s healthcare future.
