Medications, Simplified: A New Benefit for Ke Ola Noa Members
We recently added something to our practice that honestly made us do a double take.
It’s a prescription program that allows us to provide many common medications with home delivery at little to no cost to our patients. And yes, our first reaction was the same as yours is probably going to be:
Wait…what’s the catch?
No Catch. So What Is This, Exactly?
We’ve partnered with a medication program that lets us offer a wide range of generic, frontline prescriptions as part of your membership.
This includes medications commonly used for:
High blood pressure
Diabetes
High cholesterol
Hormone therapy
And other everyday conditions
Instead of sending you to the pharmacy (and into the maze of copays, formularies, and price guessing), we can now often send your medication directly to your door.
Why This Is Kind of a Big Deal
Let’s be honest for a second.
Medications are unnecessarily complicated and expensive. Even for very common prescriptions, patients often deal with:
Unpredictable costs
Insurance hurdles
Pharmacy delays
Multiple trips just to stay on track
What we like about this model is how simple it is.
It removes a lot of that friction and turns something that used to be a hassle into something that just… works.
Are There Any Limitations?
A few, but nothing unexpected:
Most brand name medications are not included
There is a limit of 6 deliveries per year
That said, we typically prescribe medications in 90-day supplies, so six deliveries is more than enough for most patients. In fact, we don’t expect many people will even come close to that limit.
Why We’re Offering This
We’re always looking for ways to make care:
More accessible
More affordable
More convenient
This checks all three boxes.
By reducing cost barriers and simplifying how medications are delivered, we think this makes it easier for patients to actually follow through with their treatment plans which is what really matters.
Included at No Extra Cost
We’re offering this as part of your membership.
No add ons. No hidden fees. No complicated enrollment.
If you’re already a patient, we’re happy to review your current medications and help you transition any eligible prescriptions.
Final Thoughts
We’ll be honest. This is one of those things that almost feels too good to be true.
But instead of overthinking it, we’re choosing to lean into it and pass the benefit directly to our patients.
If you’re a member, ask us about it at your next visit or send us a message.
If you’re not yet a member, this is just one more example of how we’re trying to rethink what primary care can look like.
Simple. Transparent. And actually built around you.
